Letter From Recruitment Chair

Dear Potential New Members,

The time has come to start thinking about recruitment in the Fall and you are probably extremely overwhelmed. You are probably wondering, how will I know which sisterhood is best for me? It is a tough question to answer but we hope to let you know from firsthand experience what belonging to a sisterhood feels like. Even though it cannot be put into words, we will try our best. Belonging to a sisterhood is walking around campus and seeing someone you know around every corner and stopping and talking to them. It’s always having someone to go to the baseball game with or take a study break at Cookout. It’s having someone’s shoulder to cry on when you break up with your boyfriend, finish Friday Night Lights, or when you are just laughing too hard. It’s getting your big and knowing that she will be your best friend for the rest of your life. It’s finding your bridesmaids, your partners-in-crime, and your lifelong friends. Being a part of Phi Mu has brought us all of these things and more. Joining this organization was the best decision we have ever made and we can’t wait until you get to experience it as well when you walk through our doors during the first round of recruitment. We look forwarding to seeing you!

Sincerely,

Jordan Trainor and Katie McAllister
